CREATE
Expanding our repertory is essential to Artichoke Dance Company’s growth and development. And new dances are exciting to see. Here are some ways you can help us continue to create new works.
Sponsor a dancer during the creation of a new dance - $1500
Provide a costume for a dancer - $250
Underwrite one four-hour rehearsal - $150
SHARE
We perform in theaters, festivals, site-specific locations and outdoors. We hold open rehearsals, works-in-progress showings, and lecture demonstrations. We are committed to offering low-cost and free programming. Please help us continue to share our work.
Underwrite a free public performance in a park - $3,000
Sponsor a lecture demonstration - $750
Provide a work-in-progress showing - $500
EDUCATE
We love what we do and love to share it with others. Thousands of youths and hundreds of adults have participated in our outreach and education programs. We target underprivileged communities in New York City. Currently we are expanding our after school program and working with senior populations. Help us keep kids off the streets, older bodies moving and everyone engaged in the arts!
Underwrite a 12 week after school program - $5000
Enable 40 seniors to connect creatively in a 4 workshop series - $1200
Provide one 2 hour workshop - $400
Sponsor a youth - $50
OPERATE
Like any organization, we have operation costs. Not too sexy, but it exists. Help us continue to operate and grow!
Weekly general administration costs - $250
Monthly insurance fees - $160
Monthly communication costs - $60
