A local singer as well as area dancers can be incorporated into several sections of the work. The premiere was performed on a thrust stage. Proscenium staging is also available.

Site-specific for shoreline areas, this work can involve the community on several levels. The premiere was held in conjunction with coastal clean up efforts, which are held around the globe and we recommend as a related participatory event. The music is performed by a drum circle playing found objects and instruments crafted out of recycled materials. Local drummers or community members can join the circle and play along. The movement takes its inspiration from culturally specific rituals historically connected with the earth. Performances culminate with a ritual walk to the water.
