Water Dances

6 dancers, 50 minutes

A kinetic work addressing water as a fundamental element, symbol of life and wonderland. Audiences traverse various terrain with the dancers as they interact with the natural and man-made environment. The movement is inspired by the nature of water and calls attention to our relationship with it. Community movers can be integrated into sections of the work through a series of workshops.

Premiere: June 2013 at the Harbor Lore Festival in Brooklyn Bridge Park
