A collaborative integrative project with Texas A&M

Water…We Waiting For? culminated in a participatory section in which anyone was welcome to participate.

Water We Waiting For? was a project with Texas A&M during the 2022-2023 academic year engaging performance studies, dance, costume design and sustainability with water use and practices on campus and in the southwestern US. This multidisciplinary project brought attention, thinking, discovery and creation to complexities surrounding water use in the desert southwestern United States, engaging students in creative practices, hands on making, research and imaginative thinking.

Through in-person and zoom visits to classrooms and planning with faculty and staff, hundreds of students participated in the methodology, questions, creation and presentation of Water We Waiting For, which culminated in a series of interactive activities and performances on Earth Day, following a week-long in-person campus engagement with the Company. Water We Waiting For engaged audiences in learning about sustainable strategies and the impacts of water use and rights, providing an experience in which to reflect and connect.
