On August 3rd, Artichoke Dance Company will be presenting Visioning Bodies at Astor Place (Square) as part of Summer Streets NYC 2019. Free and Open to All. The stage is located on Astor Place between Lafayette and Broadway.

Visioning Bodies, a contemporary folk dance for a resilient future, creates a way of existing in place, time, and energy that models co-created and interconnected systems. Inspired by working along the Los Angeles River, Visioning Bodies reflects on the complexities of nature in urban settings and the desire to both control and preserve nature.
