Site Adaptive Work

Within the Waters takes inspiration from the resiliency and cohesion communities find in times of crisis, reflecting on migration in the face of climate change and sea level rise. The ensemble work juxtaposes lush flowing movement with quick precise gestures and features Artichoke Dance Company’s signature approach to group partnering, producing a dynamic work filled with uplifting imagery and inspirational action. Colorful, energetic, and accessible to audiences of all ages, the work invites viewers to experience the power of movement as a shared and transformative force.
