GOWANUS VISIONS: A Festival of Art and Action

  • Gowanus Canal: Water Front/Sponge Park 166 2nd St NY, 11231 United States (map)

GOWANUS VISIONS: A Festival of Art and Action is an exciting event that offers educational and participatory activities, and performances at different sites near the Gowanus Canal. During the GOWANUS FESTIVAL we will also celebrate Global Water Dances Day to raise awareness and impending remediation and rezoning of the Gowanus neighborhood.

As part of the activities leading to the GOWANUS VISIONS FESTIVAL, Artichoke Dance Company will host a series of FREE COMMUNITY DANCE and TRASHION WORKSHOPS around Brooklyn. Participants of the workshops will have the opportunity to perform during the Festival on June 15th, from 1pm-6:30pm. All Festival Activities are Free and Open to the Public.
