Celebrate the Summer Solstice with interactive activities at the Old Stone House in Washington Park (5th Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets)

At 2:00pm, the celebration kicks off with Yoga. Bring a mat if you have one. There will be a few available for use.

At 3:00pm, Brooklyn Meditation leads meditation around the theme of light/sun and releasing burdens

At 4:00pm, Artichoke Dance Company leads May Pole dance instruction 

Ongoing activities from 2-5pm:

·      Choose a henna design for your hand

·      Express your hopes and dreams for the future and create a healing stick

·      Participate in the creation of a large scale mandala

·      Create ocean animals from recycled materials with Arc for the Arts
