Join us in celebrating City of Water Day at Old Stone House in Brooklyn!
Artichoke Dance Company will perform an excerpt of our piece, Within the Waters, and teach a splashy dance that demonstrates the water cycle. The dance is appropriate for and welcomes movers of all ages and abilites to join.
Following the mini performance and workshop, the event will then travel down 3rd Street toward the Gowanus Canal, tracing the path that water takes through the water shed, stopping at Gowanus Canal Conservancy for interactive activities, and then onto the canal for a final dance performance.
The performance and workshop at in JJ Byrne field by the Old Stone House will take place from 11-11:30am. The entire event from park to canal will run from 11am-1pm.
